Upcoming Schedule of Events (Chicago Style) Know Someone Who Wants To Help? Do you know of someone who needs a few more smiles in their lives? How about someone who's always mentioning they want to get involved with something bigger than themselves? Or perhaps there's someone who provides a service for you or your family that you think would be a great resource for others at GiGi's? As we roll into 2012, we're recruiting new board members to add to the core we've already got. We've got a great team, and great momentum, already. Now it's time to build from that. On Tuesday, December 6 at 7 p.m., we'll be holding a special informational session for potential board members at the Playhouse. We encourage anyone who's interested in joining the board (or one of our subcommittees: marketing and outreach, grant writing, events and fundraising) to attend. We know plenty of you (particularly parents) are already busy with your lives, but perhaps there's someone you know (a therapist, business owner, marketer, accountant, attorney) who might be a great fit for the Playhouse. Encourage them to stop by. Some of our greatest resources are the people we already know. We hope to see a good number of people there. And we can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us. This Week Wednesday, Nov. 30  Open Play 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. It's our last mid-day Open Play. Beginning next week, we're moving to 9:30 - 11:30.   Friday, Dec. 2  Teen Drama Class 5:30 - 7 p.m. Limelight On Lincoln. The teens put the finishing touches on their Holiday Pageant.   Sunday, Dec. 4 Open Play 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Our Weekend Open Play returns. Come on by. Meet new friends. Reconnect with old ones.     Tuesday, Dec. 6 Board Recruiting Session 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Know someone who'd be a great addition to GiGi's? Attend our monthly orientation to get a feel for what the playhouse is all about and the opportunities available.    Friday, Dec. 16  Teen Drama Class 5:30 - 7 p.m. Limelight On Lincoln. The teens put the finishing touches on their Holiday Pageant.     Sunday, Dec. 18 Holiday Pageant and Party 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Let's celebrate the holidays with some songs and good times. RSVPs appreciated. This year -- rather than jamming into the Playhouse -- we're going to have our party at Stage 773 (1225 W. Belmont) on Dec, 18, from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Our Teen Drama Troupe has been working hard on a holiday-themed performance. And there will be food, and good cheer (and even a special guest wearing a red suit, if you're good). Even though we'll be in a different place, our space is still limited.
