Weekly Update (Chicago Style)

Welcome To Our New Format!

We get it. Who has time to sort through a lengthy email update every week? Certainly not us. You know when the programs are. Literacy (and our upcoming Math) sessions are scheduled independently. And even if you have questions. you can easily check them out online or through our Facebook group (Haven't joined yet? You ought to. It's a great resource.)

For those who need a refresher our weekly events are:

Open Play: every Wednesday (9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) and every other Sunday (1 p.m. - 3 p.m.).

Little Fingers, Big Plans: Every Tuesday, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. (through April 10).

Busy Hands, Bigger Plans: Every Wednesday, 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. (through April 11).

Teen Drama Class: Fridays, 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

We'll still be using this e-mail to inform you of important dates coming up, and updates on happenings at the Chicago Playhouse, but the ultimate effect will be an e-mail that's less cluttered and easier to understand.

Volunteer Orientation

7 p.m.

Here's an opportunity to learn more about the Playhouse, required of all volunteers. But it's a great opportunity for everyone to learn more about the Playhouse.

Winter Literacy Ends

Our winter session of literacy tutoring comes to a close. Be sure to get your applications in for the Spring session. Need one? Email us.

Spring Literacy Begins

Our 10-week session of Literacy Tutoring runs until June 30.

Spectacular Sibs

4:30 - 6 p.m.

Our mentor sibs (those 10 and up) plan for the next all ages meeting in May.
