Good Morning, Chicago Families!
After last week's long e-mail, I'll just keep this one short and simple.
Game Night
We've been talking about it, and now it's time to
register. Come on out on
Saturday, May 21, for an adults-only evening of fun, games and friendly competition. We'll have tournaments for Jenga, Connect 4, Baggo and several Wii golf competitions (prizes and bragging rights go to the winners). Plus, you may get your name on this fine trophy.
Literacy Registration
Don't forget to fill out an application for our Summer Literacy Session. The session begins
June 13 and runs through
August 20. The application deadline is
May 27, and currently enrolled families must reapply. Applications are available in the Playhouse, or you can request on via
e-mail.
Drama Club Request
Our teen Drama Club is gearing up for a spring performance of selected scenes from
Romeo and Juliet, and they could use your help. There's a need for costuming (fabric and sewing skills, in particular), set design and construction (including supplies) and props (in particular some toy swords for the duels). If you can help, either with time, contacts or financial donations,
let us know.
OK, that was a little longer than I expected. But thanks for your attention.
